What is Font Awards?
Font Awards is a tournament-style competition where the typography community votes for their favorite fonts of the year. We showcase the most innovative and beautiful typefaces that were designed or redesigned in 2025.
Through a series of head-to-head matchups, fonts compete to become the Font of the Year 2025.

Vote for your top 8 favorite fonts. The top 8 fonts by votes advance to the bracket.
Duration: 1 week

Bracket Rounds
The top 8 fonts compete head-to-head in a tournament bracket until we crown a winner.
Duration: 1 week per round
Voting starts: Mid-January (MLK Day)
